These speakers go for $999 on Newegg at retail price but are listed for $400 less and now Newegg has a promo for these till the 25 that makes them $300 dollars cheaper!!!! These as of now cost $299, my question is are they good? Their is a large number of reviews on them that r positive. So what are your thoughts?

Assuming the room isn't too big for the speakers - that's one heck of a deal! I've never heard those speakers personally - however I've heard a few similar models from ML, THOSE sounded GREAT for music in a smaller closed room.

@ that price though if that's the budget your dealing with you probably wont find better.

The room size is bout 110 sq ft but will grow some later in the future lol, and i asked my friend who hapens to have some martinlogans but a diff one. He says they are better even than the kilisch 500 which i know are great too. I'm considering jumping on this great deal deff good speakers for that price, but was trying to save for a car rolleyes.gif

wow just realized I misspelled buy wrong in the title lol, well my question is that I thought of before i buy these things, how can they hooked up to a computer? I know that i will take speaker wire from speakers to receiver but what cable do i use to connect the receiver to the computer?

You would need something to make the change from stereo to digital. You could use a home audio receiver next to your pc. make sure it allows either optical or hdmi input. Or many sound cards have rca jacks(red/white) that you could then go to a receiver with
