They already sell these in Germany at least.

A word of WARNING though for those wanting to buy these because of the 1,2mm claim. This is marketing BS. While there is a 1,2 mm outer edge, the picture itself doesn't start until 11 mm from the side. That's still better than most IPS monitors, but not anywhere near the advertised 1,2 mm. mad.gif

1.2mm thick; the monitors as a whole are 14.1mm deep

Note that they didn't claim the bezels were 1.2mm WIDE, but instead called them 1.2mm THICK. That could be a depth measurement instead of an actual visual-from-the-front bezel size.

No because those pictures have been photoshoped. If you watch the video you will see that between the bezel and the panel there is another plastic.

Edit: In the end they show you a product that doesn't exist.

It's probably a cultural artifact, a means of appealing to people within their comfort zones. For at least ten years prior to the invention of the intertubes, most textual information was transmitted by physical means, on flexible wafers consisting mainly of wood fibers; these were typically bleached white to improve contrast, as the text was usually laid upon them with a fast-drying black staining liquid.

I know my English is not very good, but I think a lot of people will understand what I'm saying, brightness is 0% on my monitor's settings cause it is my main monitor which I use for a long period of time and I want to strain my eyes in the least way possible.

Okay, I'll say something else here, the distance you are sitting away from the monitor plus the size and pixel density of a 27" 1080p ruins the monitor for me.

I wont answer to the previous statements because yes it is my opinion and I haven't make any test, it is based of my own experience and nothing else.

OT;

I bought one of the LG IPS monitors at Costco, 24" for $169, I like it and am very happy with it - except for FPS gaming. Terrible for FPS gaming. Other games are great on it.

I'm quite surprise that an electronic giant company like LG still make a big false marketing scam like this.
This makes me do not want to buy LG products ever again.

Actually, this monitor will be one of the best if it's actually works as advertised, I'm seriously considered to buy one myself until I saw those 2 videos.

the guy who reviewed the monitor , got another video explaining the false advert.

he says that , it didnt cared if it was 2 , 5 or whatever mm off the bezel , what leads to his deception was ... how LG depicts the product with fake pictures of the working product lol , and now they are changing the "description" of the product like . 2cm off . 10.1cm on specs . something like that

its a super thin bezel . true , but when u turn it on ... u can see that the TRUE bezel is at 10cm
