X750 buzz while on and off

I have a new Seasonic X750 that has started to have some sort of coil whine thats started today. The sound is coming from the power inlet it seems. I tried different cables, no difference. The unit will even make the noise while the PC is off. If i turn the PSU switch, it will stop, same if I unplug it. Its not terribly loud, but it kind of is annoying in a silent room. I'd rather not RMA. Anything to be worried about?

I've heard some reports of this and the user has had to RMA due to the noise becoming worse, followed by safety concerns. I think you will be fine. Monitor it for the next few days, or you could even leave it buzzing to see if it "buzzes itself out". In terms of safety, I think you should be fine. If it gets worse, RMA.

it seems to just stop now. It was buzzing rather loud 5 minutes ago. strange. im not even putting a load on it, or doing anything differently than i was before.

I think overtime, It should go away. Also, I believe you and your PC are not at any risk from the buzz. Hope this is useful to you.
