That heat sink is on par with the cm 212 everyone reccomends on here...It's a great heat sink for dual core's not so great for quad's..You may be able to put some better fans on the H100 and get your temps down..

I've got Cougar's now. Which are 70ish CFM. I could get more CFM, but these fans are also quiet. 17 dB kind of quiet.

I've been using that really popular one on Newegg, Arctic Silver 5. That what it's called?

That's the one I've been using with all of these coolers.

AS5 is meh.. I use IC-7 . There are several other's out there.. MX-2 is also very good.. AS 5 has too long of a cureing process ..I.E the ends don't justify the means..

You could get ~2-3 degrees celsius better if you upgraded. Try shin-etsu x23-7783D or arctic cooling mx4. $5 for a decent improvement.

I figured the AS5 wasn't the best out there. Maybe I should look into that before jumping-the-gun and buying a cooler.

Yes do a google search on thermal paste you will find what's the best and what's the worst.. Also as gregory121295 stated shin-itsu or mx-4.. If you live close to a fry's or micro center they both sell the two he said..

I have run both a D-14 and an h-100 on my 2500k. I get better temps from the h-100 by about 10c, but moved the i5 to a micro case and using nf-f12's in push/pull with full on
