The best for pc gaming?

Thread Starter
I just want to know what's better to use for pc gaming a hdtv or regular pc monitor?

I prefer monitors.

But honestly it falls down to what you want. Different features, different prices, its all up to you. But my computer monitor serves as well, a computer monitor, tv, and gaming monitor. My tv is used for tv.

First of all, I wouldn't mix monitors for an eyefinity setup. Even though those monitors have the same resolution and similar spects, the image quality may be different

TV for gaming WAS a big no no but TV came a long way since then. I think it's more of a personal choice now. Some people don't like to see 24" resolution (1900x1200) on a 40" screen because it's kind of like you are playing on a lower resolution. I do have a 46" samsung but I've never played on it. People say if you are far enough, you won't notice but then what's the point of having a large screen. You can have a 24" and sit really close to it. So I say go eyefinity with 3 of the same monitors.
