ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ USB 3.0 Question

So my friend just built a rig around this mobo, and the mobo does not have onboard usb 3.0 headers.

He wants to use the front panel USB 3.0 on his case and it has the cable that would go into the mobo, alas as i have said no 3.0 headers on the mobo.

That MB has 2 rear panel usb 3.0 ports already,so all he needs is one of these http://www.amazon.com/Male-Female-Extension-Cable-Blue/dp/B003LOK4JO
They also come in 1.5 ft if 3 ft is to long. http://www.amazon.com/Male-Female-Extension-24AWG-Cable/dp/B004C4U2XU/ref=pd_cp_pc_2
You just need to fish it through the back and inside to connect to the front panel cable.

Well his case has a cable that goes from the front panel USB that should plug into an actual header not into a USB port.

If I'm correct he should have to use a combination of this: USB3 Female Adapter this:Male to Male Extension and this: Male to Male Adapter to plug it into his back panel.
