I bought a new Kingston SMV425S264GB (64GB) model. After reading up on google that windows 7 sp1 should automatically set the correct settings for the HDD. Installed windows, and saw that my performance was slower.
What I mean by slower is I booted up Mini XP from Hirens Boot CD and used HD Tune to test the SSD without any partitions. The results was 220/230MB without any hicups.
However now, after using automatic partition windows 7 install, it's (MIN: 141.3 | MAX: 211.6). I'm just wondering if this is what happens with new SSD's and is there something I missed?
CPU/MOTHERBOARD/CHIPSET + HD Tune:

BTW: People say enable AHCI for better SSD performance... this current laptops only has 3 options:
-> Compatible
-> RAID
-> Enhanced
In the bios, it states that Compatible is for IDE mode. Which I also read isn't the correct setting for SSD. What setting should be selected?
