Anyone have anything negative to say about this phone? I've had it for a few days now. And the keyboard tries to hard to auto correct. And when I'm talking I can barely hear the person on the other side ...

Not for me. I can always hear the person on the other side very clearly. Have you tried to adjust the in-call volume?

international or US carrier branded?
what's your signal like? My mum's int'l SGS3 is flawless.

change keyboards....I recommend swiftkey or swype. I hate using the stock samsung keyboards.

Nothing negative here to be honest. I had a HTC Desire HD (Android 2.3) before it and a Samsung Omnia II (Windows Phone 6) before that. There are lots of keyboards available from the market, including free ones. I use SwiftKey and it's great. I disable all auto-correction though as it well and truly pisses me off. I'm not getting any problems with it either - I can hear the other person perfectly all the time. My only issue is with my network (Vodafone UK), which well and truly sucks where I live (my building insulates most of the signal). Thankfully I have under a week left to put up with this network before I relocate to another country.

Keyboard sucks but this is an android phone. Just get another from the market. Swiftkey 3 is actually pretty damn good.

My screen is not perfect.... there is 1cmx1cm area of "patchiness" where there is an almost black screen.

It is not noticeable unless you look for it so I will deal.

You will most likely need this. It's a nice phone I really like it. I don't like most of the aesthetics but apparently that's just me. Feels too slick, don't like the barrel shape, don't like the button. Not a TouchWiz fan either, but I'm the minority.

If you are having reception problems you may have some hardware issues if you are getting good signal.

My only beef with the phone is the keyboard itself, its the worst by far that I've used in a smart phone. Download SwiftKey 3 you won't be disappointed.
