I want to upgrade my Samsung Behold in the next week with a beastly phone. What unlocked phone can I snag for $200 that will be an improvement?

Oh, and if you could please write why the phone is better than my behold, I'd appreciate it. smile.gif

If I'm going to double my budget (The list price on Amazon is $430), at least tell me what it does better over my current phone. tongue.gif

+1 I love my Galaxy Nexus.

Jelly bean is a huge step forward for Android, and the Nexus is future proofed as a "Google" phone. 4g, awesome screen, 2150mah extended battery lasts all day. Great dev support

i bought mine off the marketplace here for $300 ~4 months back in literally flawless condition.. Id expect your can get one for $250-275 now. Well worth the extra coin.

You can get them for $350 + shipping directly from the Play store, but I think a better bet would be to look for a used one. Could probably be had for around $300.

GSM Arena comparison between Galaxy Nexus and top of the line Galaxy S3

It's the best unlocked out right now. It keeps up with the S3, has a nice screen, and has all the accoutrements that you would expect a recent smart phone to have. Also like Hatchet said it is a "Google" phone so it will always have updates first and better dev support.

As long as you're ok with no SD card or replaceable battery, the G-Nexus is the best unlocked phone out there atm.
