I'll enjoy my stable fiber connection over this. Cable is only decent for receiving data, the uppipe is worthless.

Whats the point with such a high capacity line if they plan to enforce 1) Data Caps and 2) Police everything you do that they consider "wrong", example I got a "warning" from Mediacom for downloading Linux via P2P, which was legally done from Linux's site.

Mediacom is the "Southern" branch of Comcast (even though everything they do is MIRROR to Comcast they deny affiliation)

Comcast can get lost, they charge $75/month for 30mbps down where I live. CenturyLink isn't as fast, but it is costing less than half as much.

Why don't you just cancel and get on a promotional price? I'm getting performance (20mbps) for $30/month

Aside from the obvious and previously mentioned cap issues, are they going to stop throttling your speed on any download big enough for more speed to matter....

I just wish they'd do this in markets that don't have FIOS yet, especially markets that only really have one ISP.
