So with this plan will I get 40 during 6-11pm?

Yeah, nothing can compete with FIOS. My speed only goes UP.

I am happy with my charter 100mbs for $70 a month and a 500gb cap that is only loosely enforced. I download things blazing fast now can only imagine 300mbs but it probably cost an arm and a leg.

This, when will they expand instead. Sick of the monopolies, wish internet service was allowed to be run by local/state government. At least ours had the sense to lay fiber while working on other things - even if it's unlit.

I'll keep my 100% unlimited 100/10 internet for $99/month.

Even on 305MBps, which will probably run about $250-300/month, they will have data caps because it's comcast. There's no point to that speed with data caps. I can download a 50GB file in about 1 hour on my current connection, brand new games are usually about 5 minutes. Hardly anything utilizes my internet the fullest, i'm almost always bottlenecked by the server i'm downloading from. I've went a few months where I was pushing over 1TB of data downloaded each month. There was one week when I downloaded over 2TB of data off of steam. I can't see why anyone would need 305MBps in a home setting (unless it was the same price as 50-100MBps), and with data caps you'd find yourself with huge bills because it would be so easy to go over them.

Comcast's speeds aren't the problem. The fact that we're charged $85 a month for a 30mb/s line after the 6 month promotion is the problem. 105mb/s line? Get ready for a $250 a month bill from comcast. There's no way in sam hell they're gonna be competitive with fios when you can get a 75/35 line from verizon for $90 a month.
