What's ridiculous is that we're paying $100+ a month for speeds that are available elsewhere for $10.
You know what I want? I want to be able to buy into the infrastructure, pay the marginal expense of extra routers/fiber up front and let my monthly bill be the actual ongoing cost of electricity, maintenance, and peerage plus a flat $5 a month in profit for the ISP.
