i7 3930k 4.9 offset OC - Page 6

I am working on cooling, I just need fittings then my 360 will be up and running, then next up is some better thermal paste, then a better pump and those combined should chop 15c off my load temps because I am just using AS5 right now my water delta is 15C and I am only getting about .5 gal per minute...

The thing with the H100 is that its about £10-£20 more expensive than the Nocuta NH-D14, and tbh has very little in the way of extra performance in terms of temperatures (eg 4.5ghz both will be almost identical temps) untill you reach OC's above 4.7ghz and the high VCores that go with it, at which point the Nocuta cant handle the heat, but the H100 can still keep the heat down.

For example.

My 3930k runs at 4.6ghz at 1.34 to 1.36v (offset)
100% Load it hovers between 68 and 73c using a Noctua NH-D14

I've seen plenty of people running lower vcores and having higher temps than me using a H100 BUT i've also seen people running simular vcores and having better temps using the H100.

The 2 coolers are very close imo.

I am using the C14 and prefer it over D14, as I got 8 stick of ram need to get some kind of cooling.

hahahahahahaha!!! I can't resist!

ehmmm.... I need 1,43 to reach 4,5
frown.gif(((

but... they told me maybe it's because of the ram voltage beeing to low, or the clock too high.
So I hope can solve this finally. Need 4,8-5 to run my titans
