Thinking of building a for HD editing

Could you guys build me a few suggestions?

Few budgets im thinking 1500 max then one around 1000 and if possible one under 1000.

I was thinking of doing graphics and stuff too but im not sure if the budget is high enough but i can always upgrade down the road.

I dont really care about brands just pick something decent i also prefer nvidia and intel but if amd is cheaper i dont really care.

Do you need mouse,keyboard,screen, case, OS? anything you can reuse from previous computer?

is this for photoediting? or video editing? either way I think we have a general idea...

i7 if we can squeeze it in there
2tb+
minimum 8gb ram


and yeah is there anything we can reuse? or is this just the PC budget?

Nope and nope just need pc parts nothing else

Edit i re read your post and i do need a case, sorry. I basically need everything except a mouse keyboard and screen the usual 7 things you need to make a pc.

Do you think the cooler and 16GB of ram are necessary wouldn't 8 be enough or does that matter for an editing pc? And would I really need a SSD, couldn't I just get two 1.5 TB drives in raid 0 if I wanted?

when you are editing the extra ram makes a huge difference. As far as the SSD goes, no you don't need one, but it is nice to have the OS and your main programs on there. They boot quicker. Putting 2 HDs in raid 0 wont give you the same performance as an SSD and an HD storage drive.

I always suggest a cooler too, just because I pretty much throw out the stock coolers as soon as they arrive. They can handle the heat but the temps will be closer to the high end. For a simple $30 you can get nice cool temps and never have to worry about the heat.
