How well is this build? - Page 2

I still say check out microcenter if you live not too far from one. Pretty much everything slightly cheaper but they dont ship a lot. Thats their gimmick kinda: save a bit on stuff but you gotta go get it yourself.

I guess i'm spoiled because i live 5 mintues from one, but a 2500k for 160$? Orgasmic.

You wont be able to do the dual graphics with the apu, and for a little more you could get an A8-3870k bundled with the motherboard so you could overclock easier. now this is for if you need a computer soon and need a new monitor. otherwise go with your other build, or my first one, and buy a monitor later

I think your best choice would be to buy most of your parts at microcenter since they say that they do internet price matching if you buy everything there. Besides, they have deals on intel motherboard and cpu combo deals which i think are great.

Another option for you would be to go with an AMD APU configuration. The onboard graphics is decent (definitely better than the 5450 that you chose) and you can buy another AMD card and cross fire with the one on board (friggin awesome if you ask me)

CPU: Intel Core i3-560 3.33Ghz Dual-Core Processor ($119.99 @ eCost)

Would this PC work well and handle gaming fairly decently?
The core i3 2100 (or ivy bridge equivelant) is much better than the 560
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115078
Just use a stock CPU cooler, it is more than sufficient
That video card is beyond pathetic; you need a GTX 460 at least to be able to play modern games.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130749
Do not get that power supply SERIOUSLY 10 DOLLAR PSUs ARE DEATH TRAPS. Get a cheap seasonic model.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151093
Get this motherboard; it will let you upgrade to an ivy bridge processor if you want.

Well I do not need the computer immediately (my laptop can still handle SOME gaming). Also I'm not looking to overclock my PC much. So I might just make my second build.
Wildboyz, I will most likely go to microcenter and newegg incase for parts (microcenter first). Also the AMD APU configuration does sound amazing, but I'll probably won't include it on this build.
