it maxes at 3.12GHz and yes the 4th core is stable it been unlocked sicne january and haven't had a problem playing games all this time.

do it and sell your chip and you'd probably only really be investing $10 or so. an unlocked multiplier would be worth $10 to me, especially if your motherboard sucks.
nope my MoBo doesn't suck It's my CPU not overclocking too well.
