ASUS Crosshair V - MOBO

Im thinking of buying:

Intel i7 3770k - PROC
ASUS Z77 Sabertooth - MOBO

Will i notice much difference in gaming performance

The minimum FPS will go up a bit. 1100T is a nice cpu still though, not sure if you should upgrade.

Only in cpu intensive games like gta IV or SC II.
Or if you have/plan to get multi gpus.

Other then that, you may see an average of anywhere between 5-15 fps gain.

Had you not owned the 1100T, a 3570K would've been the easy choice but for now, the 1100T is perfect and I believe you should wait for Haswell before upgrading, if you really want to.

You notice a difference in more multi-threaded programs. But games, don't really run off of more then two-four cores. So you won't really see much gain unless games start to use more cores.
BF3 might see a huge gain, but other then that, its better to stay with what you have.

It depends on the games you are playing. If they are cpu intensive you will notice much better frames and higher minimum framerates. If you only play gpu intensive games like metro 2033, then you probably won't notice much difference.
