Your temps are fine. And biocide is fine.

It's the ek nickel plated blocks that are the problem, not the biocide. The biocide is just the scape goat. I've got ek nickel plated blocks too; fine so far.

Ok. Thanks. How much biocide do you use?

Depends on the manufacturer. I don't use any added biocides, but use Tygon 3603 silver tubing in my current wc build. That was primarily an aesthetic choice. I also use Ice Dragon fluid. Again an aesthetic choice, although it's also biocidal.

Hey there. Thanks for reading. Was my first PC build, so I decided to go all out with the w/c stuff too. What the hell.

It's running fine (fingers crossed) and the temps are wicked low. The case is really nice - loads of space and so many options in terms of where to put stuff, and adding stuff too. I have four hdds and one ssd in the cages at the moment, but you could get another 9-10 in there and round the back if you wanted/needed.

So much air in the case too. Thing runs very quietly and is a joy to have around. The only issue is explaining the whole thing when people who do not know anything about computers see it, and I spend half an hour explaning how it all works. They think it's a workbench or something before they get up close - it really is massive.

Wanted to say thanks for posting your build up. Reading this made up my mind on buying a STH10 and starting a new build of my own. Really like how yours turned out.

Hi bmacks.

No worries. Thought I'd share my noobishness and first time water cooling fears with the kind folk at overclock.net. it worked out ok in the end. Need to do a clean of the system this summer so that will be another first. If you need any advice about the case let me know. You've probs got a lot more experience than I have but anyway, if you need...

Good luck and have fun.
