Pondering a RAM Upgrade from 4GB Corsair DDR3 1333 Mhz

Thread Starter
I want to get (2 or 4)4GB DDR3 ram sticks that I can overclock to 2000 Mhz
Since I already have 1333 Mhz memory, when I upgrade from 4GB to 8GB I'd like RAM that is able to be overclocked to that 2000 Mhz speed

In my Mother-board manual it says it's compatible with DDR3 memory that runs at 2000(Overclocked),1333, or 1066 Mhz

A friend recommended that I should get these RAM sticks:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147096

And i'm sure I can do a search for instructions on how to overclock RAM, right? smile.gif

Here's a screenshot of CPU-Z memory if it helps:

Could you list your system specs (like my rig sig below), it helps others help you.

Depending on your system the Ram linked above (which I just started playing with) does run at 2000MHz on my setup (defaults to 11-11-11) but I've managed this so far

haven't stabilized it yet though and not sure it will. Still playing with it. Personally I like my GSkill (in rig sig) better as it stabilizes with less effort and performs better, down side is it cost WAAAY more $$$ lol.

I'll hold off recommendations till we know what you're working with.

It's great that everybody really likes this RAM! It sounds really promising. smile.gif

Sorry about not posting exact system specs earlier, but here's a screenshot of what you wanted?

I already got my card out ready to buy this Samsung RAM! biggrin.gif
