Well my old mb fried a while back so I ordered these and got them in the mail about 3 days ago:

Stripped everything from my case, blow out all the dust and cleaned everything up to install the new parts.
Get everything in, plug it in and hit the power.
Get the led and long short short beeps for memory error.
Been trying everything I can to get them working but still no luck.
Things I've done so far:
Make sure ram is fully seated and all cords firmly plugged in.
Pulled motherboard out for testing.
Tested without graphics card and hard drives etc.
Tried each stick individually in all four slots.
Used MemOK button on motherboard.
Cleared CMOS with jumper and by removing battery.
Tested PSU with multimeter, seemed fine, didn't test under load though.
I unfortunately don't have access to any other psu, ddr3 ram or motherboard to test with.
It seems to me that the ram might be incompatible with my board, guess I should've checked the QVL more carefully (the C9D3K2's are on it, my C9D3B1K2's are not)
So my plan is to order a new set of RAM (also a new DVD drive, my old one just died), just wondering if there's anything else I should check/test first?
