My PC Specs are

i5 3570k @ 4.0 GHz
ASRock extreme 4 Z77
8GB Corsair vengeance dual channel
EVGA GTX 560
OCZ Fatal1ty 750 W

I just overclocked, with only the multiplier and my CPU is running quite hot!

Test has been ran for about 20 minutes.
Core 1 Max: 103 C
Core 2 Max: 105 C
Core 3 Max: 105 C
Core 4 Max: 104 C

I have the stock cooler, but it shouldn't be running this hot right?
I have been running Google Chrome, CPU-Z, RealTemp, and Prime95 on Blend.
Any thing that can help me?

that is too hot - you risk permanently damaging ur CPU at tose temps.

Do not overclock on the stock cooler! Those things are a piece of crap.

That's probably correct for the stock cooler unfortunately. Keep that puppy at stock and get yourself a proper cookery ASAP.

Yes it is too hot. The stock heat sink does suck but you should be able to do 4GHz no problem with stock. I got same chip and I can. I would try these steps.

Apply some AS5 paste about the size of a grain of rice then reatach HSF

Put multi at 40 and start off with vCore at 1.1 and keep raising untill its stable.

Make sure good airflow in case, and/or take side paneling off while testing.

Post back with results.

Yeah man that's scary hot. It's because of the stock cooler. They're only made for stock speeds. Get something that will cool better, or risk killing your new chip.

definitely get a waterblock or corsair h series liquid cooler or a noctua double heatsink or something, you will need some hefty cooling for any ivy bridge.. even for 4ghz

My Voltages are all at stock, I only changed the multiplier.

That is why I'm concerned. I'm going to be running @ 3.6GHz with max temps around 80 C from running Prime 95.
Playing games @ 3.6 is nothing leaving temps around 60-50 C until I can get a aftermarket cooler.
