Corsair vs Antec vs Cooler master - Page 2

I know Corsair is good. I love Seasonic, but all their PSUs are not the wattage I need. This CM unit is one of CM's best units, thats why I thought this one would be good. And, it doesnt have those BIG capacitors on the cables. And the corsair is slightly less wattage. The CM got a silver at Bjorn3d.

Did you just gloss over the 1050w Seasonic PSU I posted?

I've got the SeaSonic 1050w 80+ gold. Probably one of the best 1kw+ PSU's on the market right now.

Why do you even need 1kW?

Get an AX 750W from Corsair or the X750 from SeaSonic.

Enough power

If you really want to go overkill, get the HX 1050 or the SeaSonic 1050

Maybe go higher than gold, 90+ Plat

If all you want is bigger numbers regardless of the quality, buy a Linkworld "430W" and I'll send you a picture file for a label that says "2.1 Jiggawatts". Print it out on sticker paper and stick it on and bada-bing bada-boom, you've got the most impressive PSU on campus.

Or you can actually listen to the people trying to help you.

Hmmm??? I am listening. I am not going with the CM, even if I do want to review it. The SS is sipmly outta my budget. And, why not get more watts if I can afford it?

Because you lose efficiency. They will under-perform and you lose the advantage of having an 80+ Gold/Silver/Bronze power supply.

That's why most people buy what they need, not over and above.

I saw your sig rig. That 850W PSU is seriously under-performing. The rig is not even pulling more than 400W
