Maybe some people are getting 2000mhz+ stable with crazy timings on AMD and that's great! We just want to see the proof of stability. We want to have a better understanding of the overall spread for the STABLE speeds and timings of these Samsungs. It's only in the community's best interest to provide these stability tests. Everyone is rushing to jump on the bandwagon and we just want to make sure the bandwagon isn't rolling off a ledge into the Grand Canyon before we tell someone to jump on said bandwagon.
Damric has been nothing but courteous and helpful and there is no hidden agenda here. No one with these Samsung rams should feel offended by this thread.
right on! Im considering this ram for a llano build, seems like decent bang for buck, but as with most higher end hardware most testing is done on creme de la creme 3770k/z77 systems. I ran into a similar problem on SSD benchmarks the other day when damn near every test i found was done on intel platforms. AMD is not Intel. The OP is right about the lack of hardware test info on AMD platforms. I am one looking for 24/7 stability as well, and I am very interested to see results, especially from anyone with a llano build which seems to have a pretty strong IMC, and loves good memory.
good luck everyone, im hoping this stuff beats the hynix h9c bfr chips.
