Back with my Athlon I spent soooo many days and nights staring at prime that now screenshots of it make me ill...lol. In my opinion there are better programs now that get the job done faster, and are more fun to look at. I used OCCT for a while and I like it but just for burning in final settings....honestly though, if you use your computer like I do, you can test your own stability (games, servers, benches, video compression, 3d modeling). I'm not completely sold on Samsung but for the price they can't be beat. These are the second set of ram this board (first was Crucial) has ran and I will probably want 2x8 soon and will probably try another brand.
I just installed the new bios for the sabertooth and so right now my settings are all gone but I'm almost done locking her in at 2400mhz with the same settings I held 2332, wish me luck and please give me a day or two to post something up (I need to walk voltages down)....maybe even higher is possible (I've seen 2800 on this ram with Intel).
Just for fun I tried that new 'windows memory diagnostic tool' last night and she passed, I was kind of bummed it didn't save any report though....how useless.
If you really want to do me a favor and save me some time, someone please explain to me how people take the screenshots of their bios that I have seen posted.
edit: as you can probably tell I can't type and ramble like an idiot so pics are best. Edited by hot noisy calculator - 8/19/12 at 2:10pm
