Currently own the micke but the shelving stops me from adding more monitors, thinking of purchasing this one to go eyefinit with some clamp mounts and what not.. was hoping to throw my tower on top to but i don't see that happening.

so yeah in short anyone own this desk and have a pic of their setup?

I do not own that desk, however you said you own a micke and the shelving prevents you from using multiple monitors... How so? There are no shelves above the surface of the desk.

Huh... that looks absolutely nothing like the one being advertised on their website...

At any rate, why not mount the monitors to the shelves? No need for a new desk, just a pair of clamps!

Yeah those are both Micke's Zero I have the one Lost Posted... Now i won't lie clamping them does sound like a decent idea currently this is how i have them at the moment

http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/4788/53280318143929197792811.jpg

but yeah clamping them to the shelving might work you're right but its just like the shelving takes up so much arm space that i'm kinda just thrown off from this desk, it was cool at first when i was actually using the shelving areas to store stuff but i took down the actual shelves to put in my monitors so its like just taking up space that i need for like a nice mouspad and so forth.

Well, if you went with the clamps, you could put the shelves back on and use them for storage too wink.gif

the desk you own and the one you want look the same ?

why not just cut off the top part of your desk with some sort of pocket knife or chainsaw ?

when yo built the desk i'm sure the top part with shelves is optional and you don't have to install it ?

my advice cut the top part off your desk save money and buy something else instead ? like monitor wall mounts and just mount all your monitors to the wall and have all the desk room for your arms and just cut that whole shelf part off biggrin.gif

cant you just mod your desk this is OCN after all biggrin.gif
something like this would be cool

pardon the paint skills XD
but just put your monitors on top of the shelf's and looks awesome biggrin.gif

Not going to lie that looks pretty ******* awesome.. i have a chainsaw lol but i don't really have the skill to give a clean cut... idk if its even really recommended with the tools I have but i realllly like that look. Its pretty much perfect... at the same time though the new desk is onllly 65 bucks, idk if i can get more advice on doing this on what exact saw i want and so forth i'd consider it... and if i fail well then lol i'll just have more of a reason to buy the new one?
