Depends on the RAM.

I've had DDR3-800 that would not take a 5MHz OC, and DDR2-667 that ran at 1200+.

I got 2 sticks ocz with sinks and 2 sticks transcend with no sink and transcend one is a better overclocker(yes i know it's strange lol ). Transcend is 800mhz and can do 1066 @ 1.9v right now i have 4 sticks running @ 950mhz with 1.82v 5-6-6-22 stable....So op you shud make sure you don't overvolt your ram too much and your ram's will make it for quite sometime wink.gif
