It went a little over, but how's this?

Actually, if you're doing a new build and haven't purchased anything/some parts, I could put a rig together if you tell me the budget. Would be easier.

Ic, most people keep saying to go i3 which is dual core compare to quad-core or six core how come? Also I will be reusing parts like my Antec Earthwalker 500watt 80 certified, EVGA GeForce GTX 260, and my 23 inch HDMI 1920x1080 resolution LCD.

I c what you did bud, you took the Z68 for later upgrade option with more room for i5 and i7 but getting me started with an i3 chipset. Interesting approach

not a bad chip I been debating between that chip but every post I read say to stay away from FX chipset, =/ and to get a Phenom ii X4 955 instead. I guess I myself trying to figure out is it really that bad?

Because despite being a dual-core, it performs better or on-par with many Phenom II 4/6 core CPUs. If you are loyal to AMD, try to pick a used Phenom II X4 960T Zosma. Many unlock to 6-cores and it's a great CPU. smile.gif goes for about $100, but they sell like crazy since it was discontinued, so you got to be fast. Either will be an excellent option for you. Good luck! thumb.gif
