RAM Problem

Hey Guys

I bought BF3 the other day along with a new gpu. Everything was working fine on all high until the game froze. It froze because I did not have enough ram to handle high settings. Right now I have 3.3 gb of ram, from 2x2gb (not showing the rest of the ram), and I want to upgrade it because it's holding back on my gpu. Should I buy a new 2x2gb dimms, or should I go for 4x2gb, because unfortunately, ddr2 does not support triple channel memory.

Are you sure it froze because you ran out of memory? That usually won't happen unless you turned off your virtual memory paging file.

Anyways, if your system shows 3.3 GB memory, that is because you have a 32-bit operating system which cannot use more than 4 GB system memory in total. You would need to upgrade to a 64-bit OS before buying more memory would help you.

Thanks for the suggestion.
