Soundcard for AD700 and Swan M10

I had an Asus Xonar DX a while back, but ended up selling it to a friend.
Now I'm wanting another soundcard.

I would like to know what sound card would be best for me.
should i get same card, or would upgrading to an STX be overkill
since the soundcard would be worth more than the speakers or headphones.

I just want to know what is the best quality i can buy without it bottlenecking/going to waste.
