Do you want to watercool just the cpu? Or the cpu and gpu? Im assuming both. Go on over to frozen cpu and do some exploring on parts. Ive heard really good things about the xspc raystorm cpu block and its not that expensive. EK waterblock for the 670, Swiftech mcp655 pump, res, tubing, compression fittings, radiator. And use distilled water for your liquid.

If you were going to water cool, I'd suggest dropping down to a 680 and throwing the EVGA block on there. I swear by EVGA tho so that is just my opinion, don't shoot all the other options down just yet.

Mock cooling setup-

EVGA GeForce GTX 680 w/ Backplate 4GB - $560
Hydro Copper 680 Block - $170
Swiftech 35x Pump - $80
Black ICE SR1 360 Radiator - $115
Raystorm CPU block - $65
Bay Reservoir - $55

Add another $25 for plenty of tubing and about $40 for barbs or like $70 to put fitting on everything and that would be a general idea of your watercooling setup. Total without the GPU included is $530ish depending on how you want to do your connections. But that is a complete loop, GPU and CPU included.

I think ill skip on full watercooling and stick with just the CPU for the time being, this build fits just fine in my budget and I think it'll perform nicely. I'm only looking to overclock just a tiny little bit, just to know how it actually works for future projects. Thanks guys !

Hmmm you are making me doubt again..
so with that setup, gpu included i think it comes down around the same price no ? then what would the performance/noise difference entail ?

Ehhh, with your budget, I would get this and watercool... $1960 build (Click to show)
PCPartPicker part list

CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K 3.2GHz 6-Core Processor ($549.98 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: ASRock X79 Extreme3 ATX LGA2011 Motherboard ($217.86 @ Newegg)
Memory: Samsung 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Samsung 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($46.99 @ Newegg)
Hard Drive: Crucial M4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($109.95 @ B&H)
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($144.98 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 680 2GB Video Card ($499.98 @ NCIX US)
Case: NZXT Switch 810 (White) ATX Full Tower Case ($169.98 @ Outlet PC)
Power Supply: Antec 650W ATX12V Power Supply ($64.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64-bit) ($90.65 @ Amazon)
Total: $1960.34
(Prices include shipping and discounts when available.)

If you are only using a single monitor for gaming, a single GTX 680 is enough. A GTX 690 is a terrible buy, you are still running SLI on a single card, and worse performance than SLI 670s.

What monitor will you be using anyways? I was assuming you were staying on a single screen, I could be wrong. If you arent, you might want to look at the 4GB GTX 680s

A single GTX 680 should be perfect for 1080p thumb.gif Unless you want 60+ FPS, I normally am getting 50+ FPS in most games I play @ 1080p. The others I play on all 3 screens ph34r-smiley.gif

same price, and includes 4gb vram which is a huge boost in performance when you go to multimonitor setups. Performance would be less then the 690 (its two 680s in 1 card) but will run much quieter and also have lots of OC potential. And it looks really cool to have all the hoses running through the PC thumb.gif same price as your 690 setup, but you get to watercool everything. Not sure exactly where you would end up in the performance graph, but I would say 75% of what a 690 would be attainable with this setup if not better. Better to ask the GPU forum tho as they would know more then myself. The 4gb vram sounds like it would be useful for you though if you want to run both 1080p screens.

Ok so right now I'm thinking of going with the single gtx680 with full water cooling system for the time being, adding a second 680 later down the road. I'm wondering if this cooling setup will be sufficient for that and if a 850 watt PSU will do the job ?

Also I've been recomended by a friend to Go for an i5 cpu as opposed to i7, saying that the i7 features ( hyperthreading was mentioned but I don't know much about this ) are not very necesarry for gaming. Is this true ? saving more money would always be great.
That's a really good E-PEEN build, actually. thumb.gif

I'd ditch the H100 and get a D14/Silver arrow since they are cheaper and run quieter.
If you dont want of an air cooler i'd spend 10-20$ more and get a RASA kit, which will out-perform the H100.
