Hey all I'm thinking about buying a GTX 670 soon and was wondering if anyone knows when they are going to release the non reference coolers? I know there are a few out right now but I would like a EVGA card. If there is no set date that anyone knows of, my other question would be do you think its worth it to wait for the non reference design? How much of a difference do you think it will have? Thanks

I honestly love this cooler, but I think I'm gonna move on to another one soon, it just looks... A bit to bland compared to other flaming red (literally) coolers on the market.

Hey there. I believe you can easily get the Gigabyte 670 as it is not a reference design and has a cooling system a bit better than Evga. Evga and Gigabyte for me have the best 670s out there. The others are also good though.
I dont believe you can go wrong with a Gigabyte 670 as well.
However I can understand that you want to wait for Evga cards because of the warranty.

Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce has a better cooler than EVGA GTX 670 FTW. So if you are going to overclock to max limits (say 1300+ Mhz) you should be looking at the Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce

As much I appreciate you pimping that card that I have (rather than the 7970
), and as much as I love my card ... the FTW is actually coming up in our poll/stats thread as being more likely to do 1300+ MHz than the Gigabyte or the Asus DCII models.
