Hello everyone, I would like some advice, and opinons on some problems Ive been having. With AMD cool n quiet, and C1E disabled, bumping up my fsb to 121 and multiplier to 17, took my processor to 3.7GHz no problem, well almost no problem. I noticed when running Prime 95 (back when I was first testing with stock cooler) it would go pretty hot, then my fifth core would get the hardware failure detected in prime 95, and sit at idle. Nothing interesting there, except, when it went back to idle, with the remaining five cores at full load, it would drop about 5 degrees celcius. Now that Ive pushed the multiplier to 18, with a core voltage of 1.370Volts, It is more or less stable at 3.8, however, occasionally after long full load of prime95, my fifth core will once again, hardware failure detected, and my temps will drop 5 degrees celcius. I'm wondering if there is something I dont know that I should, or is this as they say "the silicon lottery" where Ive got the 1 out of 100 procs that have a problem at a mere 3.8GHz Or is it just that I'm being too scarce on the voltages (i have a modded crappy Rosewill RCX-z940-LX cooler so I cant go TOO crazy)
