G Skill ram and over -clock -ability!

I am using generic ram, corsair value select ram-1333mhz with 9-9-9-24-7. I was thinking of getting G skill ram. I can only overclock my present ram to 1650mhz at those timings and want ram which will be able to overclock to 1800mhz. This is the available ram where i stay- G.Skill RipjawsX DDR3 4 GB (1 x 4 GB) PC RAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBXL),G.Skill Sniper DDR3 4 GB PC RAM (F3-12800CL9S-4GBSR). Which of these two ram sticks are better performing and overclock better? I am using the Athlon II x2 250 at the moment. Does this processor benefit more from ram frequencies of ram timings? smile.gif

I wouldn't worry about your ram timings. Your ram if perfectly matched for your rig. If you are worrying about anything it should be upgrading to a quadcore. You probably are bottle necking your 6770.

I'm currently running my x2 at 4050mhz. And my gpu usage is at 99% for most of the games. Yes thanks for the advice cause i do want to upgrade to a quad core. A little apprehensive of the bulldozer and since the phenom ii x4's are no more for sale i'm looking towards the piledriver!
