roght off the bad mobile based titles that deserved a proper controler rather than a touch screen
ie:
nova
how about a minecraft port?
or asphalt 6
how about emulators?
java games?
older titles could be renewed!
so in short it could run a lot.

people totally underestimate the tegra line
they assume tegra wil preform like it does on a phone
however this will be much better for 3 reasons i see right off the bat
1. no need to worry about power so much like you your limited by with a phones battery life
2. custom os ..no overhead from a phones os
3. physical controller no crappy touch screen controls

Incredible.
Simply incredible.
Not only have they gone against the grain of humdrum console design, but they've done so with absolute class and sophistication. They've created a work of modern art.
Ouya is truly the future. cool.gif

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the idea of it being this small! Talk about traveler friendly!

If that is all it is going to do I wouldn't even bother with an emulator. I have zero desire to play a cell phone game on my TV.

Considering the device runs Android and Android emulators already exist, although terrible ones, what is the big deal?

I'm going to hold off putting in any money for this till it actually comes out. I don't see this actually succeeding from what I've read. And yeah, the interview with the head lady was... scary... I already feel bad for everyone who put money into the project, seeing as it seems more likely this will fail or is a scam already.

I feel bad for anyone who buys into this thinking its a "new console". As far as I can tell, this thing has the same graphical output as a Wii. Just as a news article earlier this week said, the developer sidesteps questions that ask about its ability to run AAA titles (or something to that extent). I love the idea of Ouya, but I cant see it lasting more than a year or replacing anybodys console as a primary gaming platform with its low end hardware. I want to see console gaming changed like everyone else, I just dont think this is it.

If It doesn't have Call of Duty... I don't see this being desired by Ps3/xbox players just sayin...

I'm interested if it's storage can be upgraded. It's a pretty cool little gadget.

Check it out.

Honestly at this point I think it will just be more of the same. They will milk this model until they exploit people as much as they possibly can then move on.
