No, I don't think it exists yet. It's just an idea that people are ritualistically throwing money at, hoping to conjure its Form from the Ether.

They have already stated they have developer models, and the top tier backer and developers have gotten their hands on them. They just haven't finalized a retail customer version, and until they do I doubt they are going to show it outside of concept.

But of course it is totally OK for Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft to have developer units for a few years ahead of public knowledge, but not the new guy? rolleyes.gif

Fanboys.....

Your statement is flippant. That's like saying you couldn't make a good game for the SNES hardware, when that's obviously false.

Not really....

This unit is designed to be hacked, has full 1080P output, which only a select number of phones do, as well as USB ports and a controller. Just because it is using the same hardware as many high end smart phones doesn't mean it is locked into the same field as high end smart phones. Your smart phone isn't DESIGNED to be hacked and developed, in truth it is more towards the opposite.

so in short it could run a lot.
people totally underestimate the tegra line
they assume tegra wil preform like it does on a phone
however this will be much better for 3 reasons i see right off the bat
1. no need to worry about power so much like you your limited by with a phones battery life
2. custom os ..no overhead from a phones os
3. physical controller no crappy touch screen controls

QFT

But your truth is lacking...

4. Dedicated hardware (look at the outdated hardware in the ps3/xbox 360...the marvels of games coded for fixed hardware specifications instead of a host of different phones and tablets!)

No need for them after that

It uses ARM. If we could emulate this, we could emulate the PS3 too. Just because its a small console doesn't make it easy to emulate...
