I don't think it's intended to either. It's a different kind of console for a different kind of gamer. As it is so cheap and it is expected that the games will also be on the cheaper side of things. I could see this been used as a secondary gaming platform for PC gamer's for example. The PC is great and does so many things well but there are some aspects that are better on a console type platform. Having a Ouya hooked up to the TV for when some friends come over and play some street fighter or super smash bros type of games that's what I see as a possible use for this.

i can't see why it's so important for it to be that small, i mean, it's not designed to be carried around or anything like that. I prefer it to be larger and more powerful than a small and weak one,

i will even buy a console that is physically 4x bigger than the current xbox or PS, as long as the size worth it, it's a console after all, you set it somewhere and leave it there.

I agree with you on this but really I think the size is just a by-product of using the Tegra 3 platform and keeping the cost down. But as it is small it makes sense form a marketing standpoint to hype up a that feature.
