Is ther a PS3 Controller w/ Xbox360 insides...? - Page 2

Personally, I recommend picking up a 360 controller. In my experience, it is by far the better controller (excluding the D-pad for precision games). It is more comfortable, seems to be constructed better, has a better trigger and thumb stick design, and is automatically supported by many PC games. It is laid out very similarly to the PS3 controller so that shouldn't be a deterrent.

I have a generic USB joystick that looks exactly like a PS2 Dual Shock (except this one doesn't vibrate). Had it 7 or 8 years have used it twice maybe. I think it cost me $10 back in the day... But in the last 5 I just use the wired 360 controller.

If the PS3 controller works too, go that route.

MotionJoy works well for me.

I have never enjoyed using the 360 controller.

No problems with MotionJoy using bluetooth. I haven't noticed any lag either

This is a matter of opinion. I find myself the ps3 controller better built than the xbox 360 controller. I like the dpad better the analog better, and the controller as a whole better thumb.gif but this is a matter of taste. But i'm a little biased because the console i had a ps1 for a while, the ps2 since the beginning and now a ps3.

As for motion joy, excellent software, i have encountered zero problems. Played with it with a lot of TPS (like batman, re5, alan wake, etc) You can also use the software for emulator if you're into it ( works for me for snes, ps1, ps2 gamecube and wii)

Personally I have never like the xbox controllers. Not the first gen or the 360. Too bulky, don't like the feel of the triggers and the analog sticks just seem to be too stiff. I own a 360 and an original xbox so its not like I haven't spent enough time with them to get used to them either. But that is just my opinion. PS3 wired with motionjoy=win for me.
