Indeed this does not seem natural. I can get three times that and in games like Dead Trigger before I drain the battery. Also that's using Samsung's 2100 mAH OEM battery, not a high-capacity replacement.

I can say that JB is draining my nexus up to 50% faster. That is quite a difference. This came at a bad time as I'm on vacation and barely have time to charge it.

i guess since your on jelly bean you have the HSPA+ version? I have mine updated and i actually dont notice any difference in battery life but i did a complete wipe when i updated mine. That maybe an option for you also if you are rooted then just use setcpu to underclock when your not playing games or anything. also turn your GPS and wifi off. I no these are pretty standard fixes but i really havent had a problem so far. oh and check all your accounts and turn off sync for things you dont use. like under your google account turn off syncing of books and magazines if you dont use it.

Try downloading battery calibrator and using it when the phone is fully charged.

It's not JB that cause the battery drain but the new features that come with it.

The biggest single cause of battery drain is Google Now. Why?
- it causes Maps/Location services to be running at all times
- it causes Google calendar to be running almost all the time
- etc

I went on vacation and strangely, my batter lasted much longer. I guess it was some setting. I was using Google Now quite a bit for navigation the entire time.
