Question About Air flow thorough Mesh

Thread Starter
For those of you who don't know, i'm running a RS 240 Rad on the top of my case with two fans in a push configuration. My question is, do you think the mesh on the top of the case is hendering my air flow? Reason being, even when my fans are at 100% speed, I can't really feel air blowing through the rad with my hand, if I put a sheet of paper on it it's pretty noticeable but I was wondering if I'd get better temps if I cut out the mesh right under the fans. What do you guys think? Here's my current setup

Yeah if you cut the mesh you'll notice better airflow, but would you be able to mount it still?

When you say "mesh", do mean that hexagon patterned metal? That isn't enough to severely restrict airflow IMHO.

I cut the mesh on my 600T for my 200mm fan intake. It was to reduce noise and air flow. It did work for me! :3

There was a computer company site that did a mesh test of airflow and acoustic impact as well...
Once again...

Noise I'd buy, but I'm a skeptic that it would restrict airflow that much.

It probably wasn't much, but I was glad it removed the noise. Lol.

The High Performance Static Pressure Fans with the Voltage Step down because they're wayyy too noisy at full speed without em, not sure if the mesh is making the noise louder
