time for a new mechanical keyboard

Thread Starter
so I want to buy another mechanical keyboard for office use, I already have a DAS silent, looking to try a new one.

my biggest pet peeve is the key cap printing method, but this problem can be solved rather easily by replacing the letter keys with blanks, for an additional 20 dollars.

I've been looking at the new CM keyboards with brown switches, they seem to be back lit, does this mean the key caps are not laser etched but transparent like the razer BW?
if not, then wouldn't replacing key caps on the CM ruin the back light effect?

another choice I've been eyeing at is the Filco but it's slightly more expensive compared to the rest.
Rosewill also has a good one I'm considering.

also, keyboards with weird layouts are out (giant enter key, ect) and has to have good stabilizers.

ideas? thanks

How about the Mionix Zibal 60? I bought one last year was so happy with it I bought one more. It uses Cherry black switches, not sure what your preference is but I find black switches to be one of the best for typing and gaming at the same time.

The keycaps are laser etched and backlit green, looks very slick smile.gif
