How To: Clear The Printer Queue spool (FIX)

This is for windows vista and 7. (All versions, x86, x64)
Have you ever wanted to print something but nothing comes out of the printer? Is the current application in the printer queue? Will it not remove? Here is how to clear the printer spool in seconds!

Click on start and type "admin tool".
Press Enter.
A new window will open.

Double click "Services" and navigate down the list for "Printer Service". This may also be known as "Printer Spoo"l or "Printer Service Spool" on some computers.
Right click it and then click stop. Leave the window open!

Navigate to C - Windows - System32 - Spool - PRINTERS.
Remove the files within the PRINTERS folder.

Go back to the service window, right click on the stopped service and click start.

You are now ready to print!

Usually restarting the print spooler service will do the job - no need to grovel inside the system directories smile.gif
