So I just received my 655 and XSPC reservoir. I need to take the top off the 655 to connect it to the reservoir/top, but I can't seem to budge the OEM top. Any suggestions for getting it loose?

You could try submersing just the pump housing (not the motor!) end of the pump in warm or hot water and it may loosen up.

So I finally got it by holding the ring with water pump pliers. My hands just weren't big enough. I now have it all assembled. I'll work on installing it later this week.
