I am sick of this Logitech G300. Its a decent mouse but its poor in terms of alot. Its uncomfortable, it tracks like crap and the buttons are way to spaced out. I need a Nice tracking, Comfortable gaming mouse. Will be used mainly for FPS

What about the G400 (new MX518)?

Been using this mouse for years now and wouldn't use any other.

The Mionix is a good mouse too but of the two I would still go with the G400.

Reason why is because I find Logitech's North American support is much better than what Mionix offers. I've experienced both as I had to RMA my Mionix Zibal 60 keyboard last year and the process took a couple weeks. Logitech's customer service is much better based on past experiences. I had a 2 year old MX518 die on me, I called in and they offered to ship me a free replacement G400 right away, free of charge.

Yeah there is a big price jump as well. 60 dollars compared to 44 dollars. Would you know how the G400 compares to the G300 for the sensors?

Never had any experience with the G300 but the G400's tracking is flawless for me. I've used different types of surfaces also; cloth, plastic, plain wood, hard mouse pads, all work perfectly. thumb.gif

The G400 gets my vote.

I hear that DPI over 800 on the G400 isn't very good.

I ordered the G400. It will prolly be a better mouse anyways as the G300 is a more of a Claw style and to me its uncomfortable anyways.
