Need info on waterblock and more...

Hey guys i have a couple questions or so.
I plan on getting a 670 or 7950 and want to watercool it.
1. what is a good full block and backplate for each? ($150ish total)
2. will my rasa rs240 be enough to cool both the gpu and cpu with overclocks?
2a. if my WC setup wont cool both, would a 2x140mm rad work?
3. would it be worth it for me to upgrade the stock rasa cpu waterblock?

this will be used with my sig rig-but now i have a Corsair 650D case

There aren't very many good lab tests on CPU blocks. You pay your money and take your chances

If you're willing to pump a high enough flow rate and blow enough air through it you CAN sink that much heat. For normal pump rates and wind velocities not found in wind tunnels you would do well to have at least 2 of those radiators.

If your going to buy another radiator for this project I'd look into using them both.

Not really - its a pretty good water block.

What pump comes with that kit?

The RASA GPU core block should be solid performer and the small aluminium heatsinks can be ordered from china for couple of dollars. As an added advantage you will be able to use it on the next GPU you get as well. If you insist on getting the full block then there are not that many options and they all should perform roughly the same with few degrees this or that way, but as GPU's love water then it will not affect your OC potential as other things will be limiting your OC before temperature gets up to the level where its an issue. We are talking there something on the lines of (for example) max 55C vs max 57C under full load.
