Hello, OCN. I just installed skyrim and I'm loving it, the voice acting's great, the visuals are amazing and the frames are as smooth as can be... Is what I would be saying if the damn game didn't freeze every other second. Here's my problem:
The game runs fine on my system, I'm running it at 1360x768 on High Quality, the game runs smoothly for the most part, but all of a sudden, at any point in gameplay, the sound desynchronizes. Immediately following the desynchronization, the game begins to freeze and stop, then continue. When this happens, not only is the sound very de-synched, and the gameplay Is laggy, whenever I interact with a character or object in any way shape or form, the game just freezes. My hardware is capable of running this game with no problems, there are times when the gameplay is smooth and the above commentary applies, but most of the time, the game is plagued by freezes. But here's something weird, the lagging is /always/ preceded by the desynchronization of the sound. The game never freezes without the sound lagging out before hand. My drivers are up to date; All of them. Any ideas?
