I know these are tough question just wondering if there is an insider with some answers. I am in the middle of a build and everything is ordered except the MB ( I was seconds away from getting UD5H and did a last second browse and the UP5 and UP4 had just been posted on Newegg ). I am pretty much set on waiting for the UP5 unless it is going to be a month before I can get one.

UP5 is in stock on newegg.

As I try in the same time that AIDA64,HWiNFO and SIV display right info.
Edit:
PCH temperature very low compare to my previous D3H,only 43C.
Here is new HWiNFO64 4.01.1694 Beta,
work fine with this board.
Yea 8+0 phase digital PWM, its not an old CHiL PWm either as lennard said, this is a VRD12.5 certified digital, the old CHiL ones were all VRD12, and thus ASUS is now using IR PWMs too.
Also IR3563 is the first time GB is using this PWM on any board, all the old PWms are 3567 and are 6+2 phase PWMs which cannot do 8+0 mode like the CHL3828 can do.

Also i also noticed PCh temperature is lower.

Yea but he also said it was 6 phase lol, its only a 8 phase, the numbering system that IR has is very odd for model numbers it makes no sense..

1more question SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold for $119 OR CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 FOR $74 AR
FYI I went with the Seasonic, I would have gone for the HX if it was not for the light Blue color, seasonic reviews, the fact that the seasonic was fully modular, looks a lot better and It was $25 savings now and $20 rebate. I thought about the X560 as it was $12 dollars less and has gold plated connectors but thought I might need the extra power if I SLI/CF in the future nor am I sure how much TB devices will draw. I am pretty sure that this will go on sale for $99 this weekend or they will relist the X660 as that is how my luck runs with Newegg but all my parts will be here in 2 days and I am ready to put this thing together. I ordered a CM 212 heatsink but I am not sure if I am going to use it as I am worried about putting extra strain/weight on the motherboard as it is vertical. I might stick with the stock at first and see how hot the i3570K runs.

To my knowledge they never went on sale yet, some times this week they will go on sale. Stasio and i have ours because GB sent them to us.

Also the price in the US can't be compared to the price in other countries, as they have a different strategy here than sales departments might have in other regions.

Some guys come here and are like the board is pretty cheap, why is that? Do they skimp on somthing? And I respond, check the prices in AU and see if they are cheap there lol, they are more expensive than ASUS there.

Alright, in stock still. I'll pick one up tomorrow.

Can't wait to dip this into insulation material next year and go to 0c.

Just checked out Cloud Touch Bios and EasyTune Touch for iOS. Good apps for utility.

No post code read out like RC poster, but aside from that this is a retardedly fantastic board that is going for an insanely good price.

Count me soon (UP5), need to find a buyer for my D3H, here in Israel they are supposed to arrive within 2 weeks, good price also (275 dollars, obviously its not even close to US pricing but can't complain ^^).

Just saw your review.
Convinced me easily to go the UP5 instead of the UD5H. biggrin.gif Now to hope that the site I order from gets it in...

On the Up5 i use grease. i have so many boards to test, that grease and shop towels are the best way and i have never killed a board with it and I bench for hours. I just put grease all over everything except in the socket or the DIMMs or PCI, and then i layer paper towels. i am guessing you will use what phase change or a tec? I think it will be easy enough. What method are you going to use?

Phase change, most likely not cascade. Looking for cooling at least my CPU, up to 5.5ghz or more, and maybe one gpu (28nm 780 class), so 500w of cooling, looking at -10c to -30c or more. Either getting a lab grade chiller used, or getting an 8200 btu portable ac unit, with an insulated ice box, with gycol in the solution more than likely.

Can't go Single Stage for $700+, too much for me.

So an ivy bridge 3570k, delided (if it proves of use) with liquid pro applied, and a gtx 780 or such with over 25 to 40% overclock on a Lightning grade card. Whatever it requires to get 5.5 I guess, and under $500 for the cost of the chilling unit. Still a year away though, so spending time learning about the stuff.
