Just saw this on performance pcs about Hailea's water chillers. Has anyone here used it and have input of its effectiveness?

A 290W to 790W cooling capacity doesn't seem all that grand given their prices... Radiators can dissipate 1000W+ of heat jealoussmiley.gif

... or am I looking at this all wrong?

If I were looking for sub-ambient cooling ability, I would probably look into the peltiers first. That allows the water to cool just fine at ambient temps while keeping the water block sub-ambient (as long as you have enough watt dissipation).

As far as i know, all sub-ambient temp methods required a lot of power except for evaporation, which I would not do since it puts humidity into the air and requires quite a bit of space.

I was just curious since I saw some of the smaller modules.
