Mechanical board to replace G510?

I really like the feel of mechanical boards, but I also use my G510 screen a lot. I was wondering if anybody knew of a compromise here?

A compromise would be getting a Logitech G13 gamepad w/ LCD and a mechanical keyboard with backlighting, media keys.

G13+Corsair K90 or other mech KBs would do it. Orginially I had similar expereince when I wanted to upgrade from my G15v2 to a mech KB+G13, but I just went with the Corsair K90 and everything has been all good.
