Zowie EC eVo white and AM-FG - Page 2

Simply put, theres more to a mouse than a sensor or switches. I don't agree with a few of their hardware choices, but maybe that will change once they're more established.

Yea I really like the clicks on my ec2 evo as wheel, they feel crisp and tacticle, like mionix naos 3200 ( high PCS and crispy clicks were they only things going for that mouse )

I also have an earlier EC2 black with omrons, compared to abyssus and IMO 1.1 its click feel subpar, so mushy and no sense of feedback at all.

Keep in mind that i don't play RTSs tho.

White coating looks good, altho I prefer rubber, I really liked the glossy coating they used on 1.1 IO champagne smile.gif (but also hated the black version with a passion )

I think zowie should introduce more shapes instead of selling 4 versions of the same shell.

How about a MS intellimouse explorer 4.0 with the evo sensor and fully functional 500hz out of the box ? I have to use hidusbf for constant 499hz, only spawn and DA are polling properly @ 500hz on my PC :S

As with most rubber coatings on mice, they become a lot better to grip after the shine has worn of (4-6 weeks).

I want to buy the Zowie AM-FG. Does somebody knows where I can find this mouse here in United States? I was looking around online stores and I wasn't able to find one.

I dont know.. the mx518, especially after 1-2 years, had a damn damn short travel way for left and right mousebutton and I could tap so much and fire pistols so fast with it.

Those Huanos do have comparatively high actuation force, to the point that they may actually destabilize aim. They sure did that for me.

Also, while I do like my EC1 EvO, I find I can't click it as fast as an Omron mouse. For this reason went back to the DA 2013, but with it I find the right click too soft.

My ideal mouse would be Omron left click and Huano right click TBH.

the white one is too sticky for me :/ sending it back

i got this mouse a couple weeks ago and i think it's great. everything about it. and i used a DA 2013 before (right click started accidentally double clicking), which was good, but i like this much better.

the button clicks are amazing, maybe the best feature. i read (or watched in a review) that they toned it down from the original AM. they don't feel too hard to press to me, but really crisp and nice. they don't feel like they will fail at all. also, i can really feel every click, and i feel like that has improved my gaming (especially CS:GO).

i really like the glossy coating. it sticks to my hand really well. the one downside is that it shows dirt really easily. i don't mind actually because i have way more motivation to keep things clean when i can see the dirt that noticeably.
