I'm looking at a couple macros, and I really dig the Tamron 90mm 1:1.

I'm assuming the Sigma 105 is the better of the two. Is the price difference justifiable though? smile.gif

Depends on what you want, you get 15 extra MM of working distance between the subject and you with the Sigma and depending on the version it has OS and a non-extending barrel which the Tamron has. They're both great lenses for the price and of course you'll just get treated a bit nicer with the Sigma. I'd probably be looking at the Tokina 100mm 2.8 for the same price as the Tamron though.

Before I spend anymore, I should start putting this camera through its paces. My adapter should arrive (for my telescope) today and hopefully the weather cooperates tonight. smile.gif I'm almost certain it will be moonless though light pollution is almost always an issue here until about 2am.

I couldn't stand the extending barrel (and noisy focusing to an extent) of the Tamron 90mm. I got the 60mm instead and am loving it. The bokeh is just excellent on it too.
